In the development of big cities, the problem of traffic congestion needs to be solved urgently.The traditional adjustment method of green information ratio of single intersection in congested road section takes less consideration of the macro characteristics and overall coordination and control of urban road network.The macroscopic basic map MFD reflects the macroscopic characteristics of urban road network traffic flow density and distribution.Based on the macro basic map (MFD) attributes of the road network, the intelligent division of the road network is carried out. On this basis, the queue length of local nodes can be reduced by controlling the traffic flow of key nodes on the boundary between regions, and the congestion situation of the whole region can be effectively alleviated by "affecting the whole body with one action".It includes a variety of road network intelligent fusion partition method, the intelligent selection method of key nodes, the application of intelligent switching control method on nodes with high regional boundary significance, and the planning and design of layered coordinated control scheme between micro key intersections.The validity of the algorithm is verified by the real-time data of traffic flow in part of urban road network in Beijing.
